These beautiful hammocks are 100% cotton, handmade by villagers of El Progreso, El Salvador. Currently we have 4 weavers: Rigo, Carmen, Juana, and Estela. Each hammock comes equiped with a nylon rope (also handmade by the weavers) to make set-up more convenient.Choose from our large selection of colors, or if we do not have exactly what you are looking for we can special order the hammock.

These hammocks are extremely soft, and very strong, made for one person, but double wide hammocks can be special-ordered.

Hammock orders placed online after June 10, 2006 will not be shipped until after July 4, 2006. Our regular shipping/sales director will be traveling abroad once again. If you would like to order & receive a hammock prior to this date, please call Marian Pappalardo at 330-793-6693. Thank you.

We have two varieties of hammocks, medium and tight weave. Both hammocks are extremely comfortable and strong, but the tight weave uses more material and a tighter weave than the medium weave.
